CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser 236ml

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser was developed with dermatologists for normal to dry skin, and its point of difference is what it leaves behind. It contains the three essential ceramides (1, 3 and 6-II) that make up about half of the skin's barrier lipids and that dry and eczema-prone skin lacks, plus hyaluronic acid to bind water, delivered through CeraVe's MVE technology, which releases the ingredients gradually for hours after rinsing. The formula is non-foaming, fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and accepted by eczema associations, and it removes dirt, oil and light make-up from face and body without disturbing the barrier. It leaves skin soft and hydrated rather than tight, which makes it a good match for skin under retinoid or acid treatment.

Dry skin loses lipids with every wash, and most cleansers, even gentle ones, only avoid taking more. This one puts barrier ceramides back while it cleans and keeps releasing them afterwards, so the cleansing step becomes part of repairing dry skin rather than something the moisturiser has to undo.
