Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and us when you buy something here.

What we sell, and what we do not claim
We sell general health, wellness and self-care products. Everything we stock is chosen by a pharmacist, and every product page explains what it is for and who it suits.
What we write is general information, not a diagnosis and not a prescription. It does not replace advice from your doctor or pharmacist about your own situation. Nothing here is intended to treat or cure a medical condition.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take chronic medication, or are managing a diagnosed condition, check with a healthcare professional before starting something new. Supplements interact with medicines more often than people expect.
- If your symptoms are severe, sudden, or not improving, see a doctor. Do not wait on a delivery.
- We do not sell prescription medicine, and we do not dispense against prescriptions.
Prices
- All prices are in South African Rand. The price shown is the full price you pay for the item — no tax or handling is added on top. Delivery, where it is charged, is shown separately at checkout before you confirm.
- Prices can change. The price that counts is the one shown when you place your order, not when you added the item to your basket.
- Prices are re-checked against our records when you check out, so what you are charged always matches what is listed.
- We try hard to keep prices accurate. If something is listed at an obviously wrong price, we will contact you before charging anything and you can confirm or cancel the order.
Placing an order
- You place your order on this site and pay for it at checkout, before the order reaches us.
- You receive an order reference and a confirmation email with an invoice. This confirms we received the order and your payment — not that we have accepted it.
- We check the items against stock. If something is unavailable we contact you on WhatsApp or by email to agree a replacement, or we refund that item.
- The contract between us begins when we confirm the order with you. Until then, either of us can walk away, and paying does not by itself oblige us to supply.
We may decline an order — if an item is out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your area, if the price was clearly wrong, or if we believe the product is not suitable for you. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
Payment
- Orders are paid in full at checkout. We do not offer accounts, credit or payment on delivery.
- Payment is handled by Ozow, a South African payment provider. At checkout you are taken to Ozow to pay from your bank account, and returned to this site afterwards.
- We never see or store your banking details. You enter them on your own bank’s system through Ozow, never on ours, and they are never passed to us.
- An order is only treated as paid once Ozow confirms the payment to us. If a payment does not go through, nothing is taken and you can try again from your order page.
- Where we refund you, the money goes back to the account you paid from.
Delivery
- Delivery is priced for your parcel and address. You see the price at checkout before you order, and delivery is free on orders over R850.
- You can also collect from a Pargo counter, a shop you choose on Pargo's map when you check out. It costs R70 for parcels up to 5kg and R98 for parcels up to 15kg. Orders larger than that cannot be sent to Pargo.
- Delivery takes 3 to 5 working days, anywhere in South Africa that our couriers service. Very remote addresses can take longer, and we will tell you if that applies to your order rather than leave you waiting.
- Delivery times are estimates, not promises. If something is going to be late we will tell you rather than let you wonder.
- Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or when you collect them.
Cancelling, returning and refunds
Your rights here come from the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Nothing below reduces them.
Changing your mind
Because you are buying online without seeing the product, ECTA gives you seven days after delivery to cancel and return an item for a refund, without giving a reason. You pay the cost of sending it back. We refund the price within 30 days.
The exception is anything sealed for health or hygiene. Supplements, medicines and personal care products cannot be returned once the seal is broken, because we cannot resell them safely and we will not sell an opened product to somebody else. Unopened and sealed, they can be returned.
If something is wrong with it
If an item is defective, not what you ordered, or unsafe, tell us within six months and you may choose a repair, replacement or refund. That is your right under the Consumer Protection Act, and it costs you nothing.
If it arrives damaged
Tell us within 48 hours and send a photograph. We will replace it or refund you. Do not throw the packaging away until it is sorted out.
How to start a return
WhatsApp 069 418 3219 or email info@thewellnesscabinet.co.za with your order reference. Refunds go back the way you paid.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account while you are signed in.
- Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has access, and we will help you lock it down.
- Give us details that are true and current — we deliver to the address you give us.
- You can ask us to close your account at any time. We keep the order records the law requires us to keep, and nothing more.
Using this website
The text, photographs and design on this site belong to us. You are welcome to read, share and print them for your own use. You may not copy them for a competing business.
Please do not try to break into, overload or interfere with the site, or use it to do anything unlawful.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for supplying what you ordered, in good condition, and for the accuracy of what we tell you about it. We stand behind that.
We are not responsible for a reaction to a product used contrary to its instructions or its cautions, nor for the outcome of a decision to delay proper medical care. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury or anything else the law does not permit us to exclude.
If something goes wrong between us
Talk to us first — most problems are a misunderstanding and are sorted out in a single conversation. If we cannot resolve it, you may refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
