Pigmentclar Day SPF30 is a targeted day cream for dark spots, melasma and uneven tone. It works on three fronts. Phe-resorcinol inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme that starts melanin production, so less new pigment is made. LHA (lipo-hydroxy acid) gently exfoliates the surface to speed the shedding of already-pigmented cells. Ferulic acid, an anti-oxidant, protects against the free-radical damage that triggers pigment. Broad-spectrum SPF30 blocks the UVA and UVB that re-darken spots every day, which is the reason most pigment treatments fail without sunscreen. The texture is light and non-greasy, suits sensitive skin, and layers under make-up, and results build over four to twelve weeks of daily use.
