Revite's 100% eucalyptus oil is the multipurpose congestion oil of the steam-bowl tradition: a few drops in hot water release cineole vapour that acts on airway cold receptors for that piercing clear-nose sensation, and diluted in a carrier oil it becomes a warming chest rub. Cineole itself is more than folklore, purified cineole capsules have positive sinusitis trials in Europe, though steam inhalation delivers mostly the sensory effect plus the genuinely useful steam. Its retail seriousness is the poison risk: small swallowed volumes can seriously harm children, making storage the first counselling point.
