Alkafizz is the plain-spoken antacid of the effervescent shelf: sodium bicarbonate-based granules by the glass, neutralising stomach acid within minutes of the fizz settling. It is the same fast, short chemistry as the famous fruit salts at a sharper price, right for sudden after-dinner acidity and wrong for daily reflux management, where its sodium load and short action are outclassed by rafts and modern options.
