Diaclin Capsules 10

Diaclin pairs two binders for acute diarrhoea: diosmectite, the purified clay with meta-analysis evidence of shortening episodes by about a day, and Absorbatox, a patented modified zeolite that adsorbs toxins and irritants through its mineral lattice. Both act entirely inside the gut, binding the causes of the diarrhoea rather than paralysing gut movement, so it can be used where motility-stoppers are avoided, always alongside the rehydration that treats the actual danger.

Two complementary adsorbents remove offending agents from the gut without the risks of stopping it dead, a sensible mechanism for the ordinary acute episode. It also suits the traveller's kit: episodes far from clinics are exactly where a safe binder plus ORS earns its space.
