Lipikar Syndet AP+ is a soap-free cleansing cream-gel for very dry and eczema-prone skin, from babies to adults. Ordinary soap has a high pH that strips lipids and raises skin pH, which worsens dryness and lets eczema-associated bacteria thrive, so dermatology guidelines recommend a soap substitute. This one cleans with mild syndet (synthetic detergent) surfactants at a skin-friendly pH, while niacinamide calms, shea butter replaces lipids and Aqua Posae Filiformis supports a healthy microbiome. It lathers lightly, rinses without residue and leaves skin soft rather than tight, and it is fragrance-free and paraben-free. Used daily in the bath or shower it reduces post-wash dryness and itch and prepares the skin for its emollient.

Washing with ordinary soap undoes your moisturiser every single day by stripping the lipids you just put back. Switching the wash is the easiest win in eczema care: skin comes out of the shower less tight and itchy, the emollient lasts longer, and the microbiome that drives flares is not fed by high-pH soap.
