CrampEase is formulated specifically to prevent muscle cramps. Most cramp products supply magnesium only, but muscles need four salts to contract and relax properly, and CrampEase replaces all of them: magnesium from three different sources, calcium, potassium and sodium. L-glutamine and L-aspartic acid support muscle recovery, and vitamins B6 and D3 aid mineral uptake. It is used for night-time leg cramps, by runners and cyclists before and during events, and by people whose work is physical. It is free of sugar, gluten and lactose and is suitable for people with diabetes. Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme reactions. It allows muscle fibres to relax after they contract, steadies nerve signalling and is needed to turn food into cellular energy. Sodium, potassium and glucose in the right ratio are absorbed together in the gut, pulling water with them, which rehydrates the body faster than water alone.
